Bill
Seabrooke
BSc, PhD, FRICS
Director
Bill Seabrooke obtained his BSc (Estate Management) and PhD in Land
Management from Reading University, |
|

He
is a ‘Fellow’ of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the
Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors. He commenced his professional career
as a Land Commissioner in the UK, Agricultural Development and Advisory
Service. Before joining the Institute, his academic career has been
spent at Reading University (senior lecturer); the University of
Portsmouth (Professor of Land Economy and Head of the Department of
Land & Construction Management); The Hong Kong Polytechnic
University (Professor and Director of the Research Centre in
Construction and Real Estate Economics). He has taught at several
universities in Mainland China, particularly Zhejiang University. His
current research interests are in a) institutional analysis of
‘foreign’ real estate markets and b) international corporate asset
management. |

Nigel Walker
MSc FRICS
Director Business Development
Nigel is a fellow of the RICS, and received his MSc
Recreational Land Management (Rural) – University of Reading in 1976.
His International experiences include lecturing, training and marketing
in the education sector in China, India, South East Asia, South
Pacific, South Africa and Eastern Europe, including Russia, Poland and
Bulgaria, as well as in Western Europe; Extensive international
experience in the development, promotion and recruitment for
international courses in the UK and overseas, and Cross cultural
expertise in academic and vocational programmes with extensive linkages
with government agencies, professional bodies and private sector
organizations and businesses. |

Katarzyna
Marek Business Administrator
Katarzyna runs the day to day
administration of the accounts department.
Any queries relating to invoices,
payments, fees etc can be directed
to her. Katarzyna is also responsible
for assisting with administration
of the UK programmes. |

Monica
Stevens Programme Administrator
Monica is responsible for the administration of UK and international
programmes. She has worked for the Institute for 14 years in various
capacities. In a former life Monica achieved a first class degree in
Pathology at Bristol University and completed her doctorate in Cellular
Defence to Parasitic Infections at the Department of Pathology,Cambridge
University. She spent several years doing post-doctoral research in
Lille, France and in Cambridge, UK. Monica has travelled
extensively and is bilingual in German. |
