The IPF Investment
Education Programme consists of a series
of flexible modules that can be taken individually
or as a complete programme leading to the
Investment Property Forum Diploma. Modules
are selected to suit individual experience,
professional background and available time
commitment. |
The Modules
Modules range from those designed to provide
essential underpinning in finance and investment
in Part I, through to specialist-advanced
modules in Part II. These are aimed at experienced
practitioners to expose them to materials,
research techniques and written work at
a post-graduate level and to applications
at the forefront of property investment
activity. The sequence of modules may vary
from year to year and it may be desirable
to select an order of study in relation
to the participants experience and individual
circumstances. Please seek guidance from
the IEP Programme Office should you wish
to tailor your study route or spread your
studies over more than one year |

The course begins with
an e-learning module: Property as an Asset
Class. This module introduces the concept
of property as an asset class and examines
features of property as an investment. It
starts with a diagnostic test allowing applicants
to see how much time they need to spend
on the module sections, which introduce
facets of the full IEP course. Each section
ends with a review exercise and the entire
module concludes with a timed final assessment
test. All of it is taken in a web format
and can be done when and where you like.
Successful performance in this final assessment
results in the award of an IPF module certificate.

Exemptions are available
for this module for those applicants who
can prove they have appropriate professional
experience and it is expected, for example,
that IPF members seek exemption from this
module. |
